Commercial solar developer Cenergy Power designed, engineered and installed the solar system.
The solar PV system, which spreads across the Marchini production facility on carports, ground and roofs is designed to supply clean solar power to cold storage and processing operations.
The 25-year system is expected to generate over 830,120kWh of solar power per year, and is offset over 80% of the facility’s electric utility usage.
The solar system is also expected to reduce the facility’s carbon footprint by nearly 596 metric tons of CO2 per year.
As part of the solar arrangement, Cenergy Power will be providing ten years of scheduled operations and maintenance work, including but not limited to touch-free panel cleanings, preventative maintenance & repair, and overall system warranties.
