In tandem, Isofotón and SolarEdge have signed a joint customer agreement with the French company Blue Ice. A first-of-its-size installation in France, Blue Ice headquarters will soon feature a 250 kW PV system on its roof based on SolarEdge’s power harvesting solution. The installation will include 48 SolarEdge 5 kW inverters and 1,137 Isofotón 220 watt mono crystalline modules equipped with SolarEdge PowerBoxs (ASIC-equipped, smart junction boxes)–all pre-assembled by Isofotón prior to delivery on site.

To achieve optimal power yield while reducing common PV system installation and maintenance challenges, Isofotón and SolarEdge have been conducting testing and design of the joint product at Isofotón testing and manufacturing sites in Spain. The companies aim to increase energy output by up to 25%.
