UK-based International Power has completed the acquisition of the 27.6MW Schkortleben operating wind farm, located in east Germany, from Eno Energy.
The equity purchase price is E9.3 million. The enterprise value is E36.8 million, equivalent to E1,333 per kW.
The value-enhancing acquisition complements International Power’s portfolio of windfarms in Germany, which was principally established through the Levanto and Trinergy acquisitions.
International Power now has 1,081MW of operational wind turbines and a further 99MW under construction.
