There's still time to register for the International Symposium on Water Resources and Renewable Energy Development in Asia that will take place at the Montien Riverside Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand from 30 November to 1 December.

The event, organised by the International Journal on Hydropower & Dams and Network Events, has been developed to encourage a constructive exchange of experience between international experts on issues relating to: economic and efficient water resources development schemes; innovative and low-cost construction techniques; integrated regional development; economic and efficient exploitation of renewable energy potential; and conflict avoidance through effective public awareness.

The conference includes an extensive technical programme featuring 10 sessions spread over two days. Topics covered include: social and environmental sustainability; managing efficiency and safety at large construction sites; electromechanical equipment for hydro schemes; project finance; dam safety and flood management; and small hydro.

A technical exhibition will run alongside the conference, giving the opportunity for hydro experts to demonstrate their services and expertise. For information on the exhibition and sponsorship opportunities, please contact Gael Bozac or Paul Tinton via tel: +44 20 8288 9009 or email: sales@hydropower-dams.com.
