In 2008, Intergence Systems started a program for the development of software and services to help organizations reduce their ICT based power consumption by focusing on advanced energy monitoring across global networks and virtualization.
The company leveraged the knowledge of academic and entrepreneurial communities within Cambridge to develop these software and services, which received support from funds granted by the UK government.
The company has joined the Green Grid with the objective of integrating its analytical skill with that of the consortium to drive greater data centre energy efficiency.
