Infrastructure and its partner Cleanfield Energy will propose a build, operate and transfer (BOT) business model in which the companies will own and operate alternative fuel stations.
The Utah site is intended for a high-traffic full-service truck refueling station on the I-15 freeway in the south-central part of the state.
The four sites in Colorado are in the northeastern part of the state, and the project will be proposed as a joint venture between Infrastructure, Cleanfield and Colorado’s primary supplier of E85.
The supplier has developed a dispensing system and has secured the station sites but requires an operator.
