Incap Corporation has inked a cooperation agreement with Aidon Oy, a provider of smart metering and smart grid applications, to become its manufacturing partner.

Under the agreement, Incap will become a supplier of electronic modules for Aidon’s next-generation energy service devices.

Incap is manufacturing the electronic modules at its factory in Kuressaare, Estonia, and the deliveries will begin in June 2011.

The company had recently set up the production facilities and pilot deliveries have taken place earlier this year.

Incap business unit director Jari Koppelo said the Aidon’s products are in line with the company’s energy efficiency strategy and are well suited for its product portfolio.

Aidon managing director Timo Chrons said Incap can provide the reliability required for Aidon’s products and their delivery.

Aidon Oy is a provider of next-generation energy service devices, data communication and system solutions, as well as services, all based on open architecture.
