The 4km x 5.5km anomaly is defined by 168 sample points on a broad reconnaissance grid 400m x 200m and has not been closed off along strike.

The soil sampling returned peak gold values of 904ppb, 793ppb and 437ppb, with these high values defining a 2km trend where gold concentrations are the equivalent of 0.9, 0.8 and 0.4g per ton.

IMX managing director Gary Sutherland said: "This is an exceptional early-stage gold target by any standards which demands further work."

The Nachingwea property is subject of a joint venture agreement with MMG under which latter may acquire up to a 60% stake by funding up to $60m of exploration work.
