A Periodic information notice without call for competition has been released regarding the Karahnjukar hydroelectric project. Work on the project will involve the construction of a 1600m long, 26m high rockfill dam with a central core of moraine, a concrete overflow spillway and a spillway-canal excavated in rock. It will also involve construction of two 250m long, 8m high earthfill dams with spillway concrete structures and a bottom outlet. Further, excavation of water diversion canals totalling about 2000m in overburden and rock.
