The majority of the 1,250MW capacity is contributed by the various wind farms, which have a combined capacity of around 1,000MW and a budget of E170 million.

Iberdrola Ingenieria y Construccion (Iberinco) is constructing almost 40 wind energy installations for the Iberdrola Group, spread out all over Spain, as well as two in Poland.

In the field of photovoltaic energy, Iberinco is carrying out projects in various Spanish provinces, which amount to 50MW of installed power and will involve investment of almost E350 million.

The company is reported to be constructing the largest thermosolar plant in Europe in Puertollano, Spain. With 50MW capacity, it will be able to produce 120 million kWh of electricity per year, eliminating the emission of almost 40,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
