The companies said they will jointly pursue the development of at least four new hydropower facilities in the US.
Hydro Green Energy president and CEO Michael Maley said that given the present scale of the company’s project development activities, it was necessary to bring in a teammate with outstanding hydropower experience.
"This relationship will allow us to be among the leaders in the new era of hydropower growth in the US. It may also be the launch platform for our future international initiatives," Maley said.
Brazil-based Engevix provides engineering studies, project design, EPC integration and project management in the areas of energy, industry and infrastructure.
