To date, the company’s total generation capacity on an equity basis has increased from 40,975MW to 42,011MW. The Haimen Power Plant is wholly-owned by Huaneng Power.
Huaneng Power and its subsidiaries develop, construct, operate and manage power plants throughout China.The company owns 18 operating power plants, and has controlling interests in 16 operating power plants and minority interests in five operating power companies within China. The power plants are located in 12 provinces and four provincial level municipalities in China. The company also has a wholly-owned generation company in Singapore.
