Huaneng Power International said that it had paid the consideration of the acquisition to Huaneng International Power Development Corporation (HIPDC) in full, in accordance with the transfer agreement.
Upon completion of the acquisition, the company’s total generation capacity on an equity basis will be increased by 468MW. The company said that its total generation capacity on an equity basis has increased from 32,107MW to 32,575MW.
