The new Smart Grid Solutions enterprise to be part of Honeywell’s Building Solutions business unit, will collage existing expertise and meet growing needs of energy providers and users alike.
Honeywell Smart Grid Solutions vice president and general manager Jeremy Eaton said, "Honeywell has a long history helping balance supply and demand through turnkey programs that provide benefits for utilities and end users."
Smart Grid Solutions will help connect utilities and customers meet their energy challenges which include stress management and congestion on electrical infrastructure leveraging renewable energy resources and efficient management of energy demand.
Currently, the company is implementing China’s first smart grid project – Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area, Honeywell has similar projects underway in Australia, India, UK and the US.
