The 430MW Rampur hydro project in Himachal Pradesh, India, will begin construction next month, according to reports from Business Standard.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is set to lay the foundation stone of the project in May, Business Standard quotes officials as saying.
The exact date is uncertain, but it has been confirmed that the PM, along with UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, will visit the site sometime in the second week of May.
