The manufacturing facility will allow the company to offer customized products for the Taiwanese market.
Photovoltaics Business Unit global manager Andy London said that the Taiwanese market is significant to the future of the photovoltaic industry.
"We value the demand from this region and see it as vital to the future growth of our global PV business," said London.
The new manufacturing facility features an expanded laboratory and production capabilities, supported by trained local personnel and will be be officially unveiled in October 2012.
