A 1,000m diamond drilling program at the project was designed to follow up on copper mineralization identified over wide intercepts.
The remaining assay results from the DDH2 have revealed that drilling is still within the mineralization zone, which include 70m at 0.41% copper equivalent from 82m, 38m at 0.44% copper equivalent from 256m, and 20m at 0.52% copper equivalent from 192m.
The drilling work at DDH2 targeted 400m @ 0.33% copper equivalent from surface to end of hole.
The company said there is a good correlation between copper and gold values as well as molybdenum and the system remains open along strike and at depth.
Assays for the final drill holes DDH 3 and DDH 4 are pending, according to the company.
Helix is planning to build tracks to access the untested northern, western and eastern flanks of the system at Target 1, in order to provide details of dimensions through channel sampling along the tracks.
Targets 2, 3 and 4 is expected to have additional induced polarization to complement the next drill program at Joshua, while Helix will undertake several IP lines at the adjacent the Hado and Huallillinga projects.
