The company plans to concentrate on the production potential of the Lower B18 interval, which has produced thicker volumes of condensate or light oil during testing.

The Sorochynska-202 well, currently have no reserves or resources at the location, to add additional production.

Hawkley Oil & Gas CEO Richard Reavley said that the company is disappointed with the results of the Upper B 18, as it not resumed the expected commercial production.

"Clearly the fact that this sand is not in pressure communication with the Upper B18 sands which are producing at Well-201 suggest that more work is required to better understand the field reservoir geology and the connectivity of these sands, " Reavley added.
