The release of the Hara EEM solution provides new functionality and enhancements across a range of areas including best practices and innovation, data aggregation and automation, and the enterprise management of energy, resources and emissions on a global scale, the company said.
Hara claims that its EEM best practices content and collaboration capabilities will enable organizations to share and leverage best practices across stakeholders, and align top down strategies with bottom up operational execution to ensure efficiency and results.
The solution is expected to enable strategy definition and true-up analysis for environmental credits such as carbon offsets and renewable energy certificates.
Hara EEM will also allow organizations to automate and aggregate the collection of enterprise-wide resource and energy consumption data from sources across the enterprise and value chain. Direct integration with utilities captures energy usage, costs, and subsequent environmental impact. Hara web services capabilities and service-oriented architecture will enable real-time integration with sensors and meters as well as EH&S systems. Access to current and historic market, environmental and financial data provides decision support intelligence and real-time insight into resource and energy usage and greenhouse gas emissions.
