Globes reported that after a disagreement with Egypt-based East Mediterranean Gas Co. (EMG) concerning natural gas deliveries, Hadera Paper is currently scrutinizing the option of purchasing gas from the partnership that holds ownership in the Tamar and Dalit wells, presuming that the initial deliveries from them are accessible as early as 2013.
Hadera Paper has a natural gas partnership agreement with Yam Tethys for deliveries till 2011. EMG was supposed to provide gas after that. Yam Tethys is owned by Noble Energy Ltd. and Delek Group Ltd., two of the primary partners in the Dalit and Tamar prospects.
