US-based electricity provider Guam Power Authority (GPA) has announced its plan to pre-pone the installation of advanced digital meters in the villages of Talofofo and Yona in Guam territory.

GPA has selected APEX CoAdvantage to install the meters and the team is presently installing new advanced digital meters in the Southern part of the island.

The authority is carrying out the program as a part of its Smart Energy Guam initiative.

The installation work is ahead of schedule; thereby the digital meter installation work in the two villages will begin early.

Apex team is installing the new advanced digital meter technology along the areas of Agat and Nimitz Hill for residential and small commercial customers.

GPA representatives will hold public meetings for both the towns to educate them about the benefits of digital meters, the process of installation, and answer other queries.
