Sweden-based Gas Turbine Efficiency has signed a three-year exclusive supply agreement with Siemens Power Generation to supply, integrate, test, train and install combustion dynamics monitoring systems.

Siemens will market exclusively, under its own name, the systems worldwide on its combustion turbine fleets. Under the agreement, each party will retain its intellectual property delivered to each other prior to signing the agreement.

The combustion dynamics monitoring systems integrate a variety of sensors, hardware and controls to create a much more effective solution on a variety of gas turbine operating issues, including fuel variability and fuel quality, emissions optimization, combustion tuning and fuel efficiency, and parts life extension and system protection.

Steve Zwolinski, CEO of Gas Turbine Efficiency (GTE), said: GTE continues to expand its products and services portfolio with a common strategy of optimizing turbine performance to lower fuel costs, equipment downtime, system reliability and the minimization of greenhouse gas emissions.
