GT Solar has received two orders from Alpha Crystal Technology and Tera Xtal of Taiwan, while the third order comes from a new Chinese customer, the Lingyang Group.
The company claimed that its crystallization process technology and global support resources offer customers a path to productive and profitable sapphire manufacturing operations with a greater return on their investment.
GT Solar is a provider of polysilicon production technology, and sapphire and silicon crystalline growth systems and materials for the solar, LED and other specialty markets.
