The stations utilize electricity and tap water to produce the hydrogen on site.

The companies will deliver renewable electricity to sites where hydrogen is produced via the electrolysis of tap water, resulting in zero associated carbon emissions.
Good Energy owns two wind farms and seven solar farms. The company will deliver more power in case of larger demand for renewable electricity.
ITM Power CEO Graham Cooley said: "Utilising surplus renewable energy lies at the heart of the proposition for hydrogen as a clean fuel.

At present, ITM Power has two public hydrogen refuelling stations for hydrogen powered cars. The company plans to open four new stations by the end of this year.
