Indian budget airline GoAir has teamed up with card issuer SBI Card to launch a co-branded credit card in association with Visa International.

The GoAir SBI Credit Card offers a unique rewards program that entitles cardholders to four reward points on every Rs.100 they spend on buying GoAir tickets with their GoAir SBI Card. Cardholders can redeem these reward points, against subsequent GoAir ticket purchases.

The GoAir SBI card is also loaded with features including complementary air accident insurance cover, purchase protection and flexi pay. The card also allows cardholders to save on fuel costs, with its 0% transaction fee on fuel purchases at select IOC and IBP petrol pumps.

In less than a year of launching its services, GoAir has created a vast set of loyal and value conscious customers, commented Roopam Asthana, CEO of SBI Cards. Credit card spends in the airline category have shown a phenomenal rise of 80% over the last year…We are confident that GoAir, SBI Cards and Visa will be a winning combination.
