Turbine Control Services Association has won a US$4.6M refurbishment contract for Glen Canyon dam, US.
The US Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) has commissioned the Pittsburgh-based company to replace the excitation systems’ voltage equipment at the facility.
Glen Canyon dam provides power for the West of the US and stores water for the western states of Arizona, Nevada and California.
