The facility will house the employees of GE Infrastructure’s energy, transportation and water & process technologies businesses. The existing GE Energy engineering center will also move into the new building.
According to Russia’s Unified Energy System (UES), the reform of the energy sector has already resulted in RUB720 billion being raised in public investments. Proposed uses for these funds are the increase of power generation by 30GW and the commissioning of more than 70,000km of transmission lines.
