General Electric Company (GE) has appointed Joseph R. Mastrangelo as vice president of the equipment division at GE Oil & Gas and Larry A. Sollecito as president and CEO, Enterprise Solutions – Digital Energy, a business within GE Technology Infrastructure. In addition to this, Kathryn Cassidy is promoted as senior vice president of GE and treasurer of GE and GE Capital and Dmitri Stockton promoted as senior vice president of GE and president & CEO, Global Banking at GE Capital.

Joseph Mastrangelo has extensive experience across GE’s Oil & Gas business. Prior to his current role, Mastrangelo had global responsibility for the equipment division’s commercial operations and prior to that he led the Midstream (pipeline) business within the Florence-based organization.

He joined GE through the Financial Management Program in 1993 and held roles of increasing responsibility in finance, rising to Executive Audit Manager on GE’s Corporate Audit Staff. Mastrangelo holds a Bachelors of Science degree in finance from Clarkson University and an Associates of Science degree in Business Administration from Westchester Community College.

Larry Sollecito has been with GE for 34 years. Prior to his current role, Sollecito was president & general manager of Multilin, a business within GE Consumer & Industrial. Before that, he held several technology leadership roles, including general manager of e-Business and global sourcing general manager, in businesses within GE Consumer & Industrial and GE Enterprise Solutions. Sollecito holds a degree in computer science and systems engineering from Union College.

GE also announced the promotion of two leaders to senior vice president. These include:

Kathryn Cassidy was previously vice president and treasurer of GE. Before leading the treasury operation, Cassidy spent several years as executive vice president and managing director for GE Capital – Real Estate where she was responsible for both the strategic ventures business and its Mexican operations. Cassidy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from Fordham University.

In 2005, Dmitri Stockton was named a GE company officer and appointed president & CEO of GE Money – Central and Eastern Europe, with responsibilities for the Middle East region added in 2007. In 2001, Stockton became chief executive officer for GE Capital Bank in Switzerland. He also served as senior vice president of marketing and business development for GE’s Mortgage Insurance business in 1999. Stockton holds a Bachelors of Science degree in accounting from North Carolina A&T State University.
