GE Energy has signed a 22-year, contractual service agreement with Thailand’s Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Co (RGCO).

The deal covers six of GE’s Frame 9FA gas turbines, steam turbines and generators at the 2100 MW Ratchaburi combined-cycle plant and covers maintenance activities, high-technology parts, uprates and plant performance guarantees for the life of the agreement.

The output from the plant is sold to Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT).
