Gaz de France has reported sales of E4.352 billion for the third quarter of 2007, an increase of almost 10% compared to the same quarter of 2006. According to the group, the growth reflects an improvement in its business activities during the quarter in a background of almost neutral climatic conditions.

Gaz de France said that due to the good performance of its various business activities during the quarter, the change in sales over the nine first months of 2007 has improved to -6.5% compared to -11% over the first six months of the year.

As of September 30, 2007, group sales amounted to E18.13 billion compared to E19.391 billion for the first nine months of 2006.

Gaz de France said that due to its performance in the third quarter of 2007, it has confirmed its 2007 financial objective, which states that gross operating surplus should be in line with that of 2006.
