Under the agreement, the manufacturer will supply 25 units of G97-2.0 MW class III wind turbines that would be deployed at the under construction Chengdingsha wind farm in Shandong province.
As per the terms of contract, the delivery is slated for July of 2014, while the wind farm is expected to be completed by the end of 2014.
G97-2.0 MW turbines are designed for low-wind sites and help the company in reducing the cost of energy (CoE) for its low and medium wind speed products.
The deal is expected to strengthen commercial relationship between the Gamesa and CGN Wind Energy, which have been working together since 2009.
