Under the contract, the company will supply, install and commission a total of 94 G114-2.5MW turbines and two G90-2.0MW turbines.
Gamesa will also be responsible for five-year operations and maintenance services for the project.
The company is scheduled to commence the turbines deliveries in February 2016, while the wind project planned to be commissioned during the first quarter of 2017.
Located between the Scottish councils of South Ayrshire and Dumfries and Galloway, the wind power plant will have an operational life of 25 years.
The project aligns with the Scottish Government’s aim to produce 15% of its total power from renewable sources within next five years.
ScottishPower Renewables CEO Keith Anderson said: "Kilgallioch windfarm will become our second largest windfarm in the UK and this year marks a real milestone as we approach 2GW of installed onshore wind capacity – enough to power up to nearly two million homes."
The G114-2.5MW has been designed to reduce the energy cost by 10% while producing 29% more power than the G97-2.0MW model.
Gamesa expects to secure type certification for the turbine during the fourth quarter this year.
