Gamesa has signed a deal with Polish power company PGE Energia Odnawialna to sell the 48MW Pelplin wind farm in Poland.

Located in the Pomorskie region of northern Poland, the wind energy project will be powered by 24 units of the company’s G90-2MW turbine.

The power project is currently being built by Gamesa’s wind farm development and sales division.

Under the deal, Gamesa will deliver and transfer ownership of the facility in the first half of 2012, after construction is completed.

Gamesa said its portfolio in Poland totals 677MW of wind energy projects at varying stages of development, 108MW of which are under construction.
