Two spots will be for anchored turbines, while the other two spots will be for floating turbine systems.
Gamesa chief technology officer Jose Malumbres said that this agreement provides a new opportunity for testing and validating the prototypes the company has been developing in recent months.
The ZEFIR Test Station, which will consist of 12 turbine spaces, will be located off the coast of Tarragona, Spain.
