Galaxy recently completed the mapping, prospecting and sampling program on the property and the analysis results are awaited.
The 4,200ha SUN Graphite property is expected to have many targets of large flake graphite and the company is planning to drill 25 to 30 holes on the property. The drilling program will consist of 2,500-3,000m with the holes being spud to 75-125m in depth.
Galaxy is expecting to start the drilling program on or about 24 August, 2012 and the program is estimate to last for about one month.
Forage Val D’Or will be awarded the drilling program while Consul-Teck will manage the program.
The company also has an option to acquire 100% interest in the property.
