The company will offer water management services to exploration and production companies, and water resource companies.
MEA Solutions had been earlier employed to treat and recycle flowback water and other water-related activities of the company.
Freestone Resources president Clayton Carter emphasized the need for multiple technologies to ensure consistent water recycle and reuse.
"Freestone is currently working on a case-by-case basis with potential clients to provide dependable access to water, which includes a complete water recycling program to fit their specific needs," he added.
"Our company’s water management goals have expanded since the formation of Freestone Water Solutions, and along with Mike and Chet we decided that this expansion would be most efficient if operated wholly within Freestone Resources."
