As per the contract, Foster Wheeler will aid NSRP for the preparation of the enquiry packages, bid clarifications, and bid evaluation. It will also provide all the necessary technical and commercial support leading to award of the engineering, procurement and construction contract.
Recently, Foster Wheeler completed the front-end engineering design for this new complex, which will be Vietnam’s second refinery.
Fumitaka Hosaka, lead project director of NSRP, said: “Recognizing Foster Wheeler’s performance in preparing the FEED, NSRP is pleased to award Foster Wheeler this contract for additional technical and commercial services.”
NSRP is a joint venture company comprising PetroVietnam and its international partners.
