China Petrochemical Corp (SINOPEC) has awarded a contract for three pet-coke-fired circulating fluidised-bed (CFB) boilers from two Chinese subsidiaries of Foster Wheeler.
The three 100 MW units will be located at SINOPEC Tianjin Company’s ethylene complex in Tianjin City in China. Commissioning of the boilers is anticipated in 2008. The value of the contracts was not disclosed.
