The ground gravity survey identified approximately 11 drill targets located on trend and immediately adjacent to the southwest of Fission Uranium’s Patterson Lake South (PLS) discovery.
Completed on three separate grids over priority areas of electromagnetic (EM) conductors and radon anomalies, the gravity survey was conducted on the northern part of the property, in closest proximity to the PLS discovery.
Forum Uranium exploration vice president Ken Wheatley said the company will begin first drill program on this project in late January following completion of the ground EM survey.
"The nearby PLS discovery is a robust uranium mineralized system and Forum’s adjacent claims are well located on trend," Wheatley added.
In order to prioritize drill locations for the conductive zones, Forum is planning to conduct ground EM survey early in January 2014.
Forum’s technical team will use combination of geophysics and geochemistry to more accurately define and locate drill holes on the most favorable uranium targets.
