Finland-based energy company Fortum has appointed Peter Gango as Loviisa nuclear power plant's new manager, effective January 1, 2008.
Mr Gango has previously held several management positions at Loviisa. Currently, He is manager of the UK-Sullom Voe power plant, which is operated and maintained by Fortum.
The current manager of the Loviisa plant, Arvo Vuorenmaa, will head Fortum generation’s jointly-owned nuclear assets unit.
Fortum senior vice president Tapio Kuula said: These appointments are part of Fortum’s job rotation and will further strengthen the company’s nuclear power business.
