The tool, which can be accessed on an Android / Apple mobile device, allows users to connect with the LinkedIn profile of investors as well as to the websites of funds and institutions.
It also enables user to connect and stay in contact with investor groups through the social media.
According to Fortbridge, the natural resources segment looks for international investment, and investor research / targeting technologies can be accessed through third-party data bases, which require substantial investment.
"Most small-cap companies cannot justify the major expense of global investor data bases, or they only require a small portion of the data but need to pay for a complete system in order to get this," the company said.
With this app, small-cap listed mining and energy companies can access information and location of around 2,500 investor groups in more than 20 countries worldwide.
