The initial production from the reopened wells has been as high as six barrels per day averaging two to three barrels per day without stimulation and flush from new wells drilled on the leases.
It is believed that the reason for this initial high flush production is the presence of a duel drive pressure in the Redd Sand reservoir.
Both water and gas are present within the oil bearing sands, and this also means the reservoir will naturally respond to a secondary pressure maintenance program such as a water flood, gas flood or combination drive.
The company said it anticipates the reopening of 25 more existing wells in the very near future.
