According to the company, its scope of supply includes the manufacture of subsea production systems including horizontal subsea trees and related installation services. FMC will also provide required controls, manifolds and tie-in systems as part of the agreement.
John Gremp, executive vice president of FMC Technologies, said: “Earlier this year we manufactured two 15,000psi subsea tree systems for Noble Energy. This agreement strengthens our existing relationship and also provides a budgeting and forecasting plan to assist Noble Energy with their deepwater Gulf of Mexico developments.”
Recently in the first week of November 2008, FMC Technologies announced that it has received an award from Venture Production for the supply of subsea production systems. The award represents approximately $25 million in revenue to FMC Technologies. Under this contract FMC will supply three high temperature enhanced horizontal subsea trees and four subsea wellheads. All equipment will be designed and manufactured at FMC’s Dunfermline, Scotland facility.
