Under the field construction contract, valued at about $430m, Flint construct two major silos of work within the central plant facility.

The scope of the project consists of Flint’s mechanical and electrical direct field activities, as well as construction management and support.

The company will commence in the first quarter of 2012 and will continue until mid-2014.

Earlier this year, the company reported $300m in additional backlog from two other oil sands projects.

Flint is a provider of integrated products and services for the oil and gas industry.
