Diversified energy firm FirstEnergy has announced that Dennis Dabney has joined the company as vice president of human resources. Previously, he was the director of human and labor relations at DTE Energy, the parent company of Detroit Edison.
In addition to DTE Energy, Mr Dabney has developed human and labor relations expertise at automobile parts manufacturer Thyssenkrupp-Budd and the Budd Company.
Lynn Cavalier, FirstEnergy’s senior vice president of human resources, said: His expertise will help us build on the successful corporate safety programs, labor relations activities and employee benefits functions we now have in place.
