The Netherlands’s first wind farm in the North Sea has been officially commissioned.

Constructed by Nuon and Shell, the Egmond aan Zee Offshore Wind Farm comprises 36 turbines with a combined design capacity of 108 MW.

The project involved an investment of more than €200 million.
