PA Resources said that the final production well at the Azurite field offshore Congo has started oil production.
The well was drilled as a sidetrack from an existing field production well, which it replaces.
According to the company, all planned wells have now been drilled and completed at the field.
PA Resources holds a 35% working interest in the production sharing contract for the Azurite field, with operator Murphy Oil holding a 50% interest and Societe Nationale Petroles du Congo holding 15%.
PA Resources is engaged in the exploration, development and production of oil and gas assets.
