Falck is set to invest €250m in biomass, waste-to-energy and anaerobic digestion plants by 2017.
Meanwhile, the company will now look for investors to acquire minority stakes in its 273MW wind power assets.
The company is aimed to achieve 865MW of renewable power generation capacity from its current 716.4MW.
Falck Renewables noted that the company has no plans of adding solar power generation assets to its portfolio.
The company said additional wind energy investments will be made in areas that have abundant renewable resources and in countries with growing renewable energy portfolios.
