Exousia Advanced Materials, Inc. (Exousia) has appointed Thomas Moccia as new vice president (VP), global sales and marketing. In this new role, Moccia will be responsible for developing and executing company's sales and marketing strategy for its plastics and industrial coatings technologies in US and China. He will also be responsible for improving and managing company's plastics distribution network, and direct sales relationships.

Moccia has more than 25 years of senior-level marketing and sales experience with the material suppliers like GE Plastics, Conoco Phillips, PolyOne, and Teknor Apex. He will head the pending launch of the new coating technologies newly developed for marine and rail industries to lengthen the useful life of ships and railcars.

Throughout his over 25-year career, Moccia is credited with the building and leading many marketing and sales organizations in plastics and chemical industries. He focused on a wide range of materials technologies, like thermoplastic elastomers, thermoplastic vulcanizates, synthetic rubber, engineered thermoplastic resins and compounds, conductive carbon fibers and other advanced materials solutions, incorporating new and emerging technologies.
