The Liberty natural gas transmission project is being envisaged as a deepwater pipeline system that receives gas 15 miles offshore New Jersey and is expected to begin delivering up to 2.4 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas by late 2011.
The natural gas offloading procedure is being accomplished using a closed loop regasification system. Environmental impact surveys and route selection studies to minimize the temporary impact on environment are being undertaken.
